Massey Hall Stained Glass Revitalization Project
The Stained Glass Revitalization Project is set to be completed around mid-summer as the interior details can’t be started until the windows are installed!
- work is being done to restore 93 stained glass windows which date back to the late 1890s
- these windows were boarded up because of traffic noise
- stained glass was encrusted with grime and so dirty that no one knew they existed
- the glaziers scrubbed away the dirt, replaced the cracked glass and touched up blemishes
